Job Well Done!
After weeks of prep, we were finally able to get our Georgia native plants in the ground at the Hammonds House Museum today. It wouldn’t have happened without the AmeriCorp volunteers who showed up ready to work or the various volunteers who showed up on previous weekends dating back to August. We put more than 200 plants in the ground! Can’t wait ’til spring to see the first round of bushes start to bloom.
Special thanks to the project leaders: Myrna, Lauren, Pandra, Pamela and our own Melvin. Job well done!
